Orcas Island vacation home that bends along a hilltop to capture distant mountain and water views. A detached garden shed acts as an entry portal to the house and creates a deer-proof planting zone as part of the entry sequence. A wood “boardwalk” begins at the entry portal and runs continuous through the house, cantilevering out into a densely forested ravine at the back of the property.
